Terence Featherstone MB BS DMRD FRCR FBIR
Qualified in Medicine - MB BS 1982 - Newcastle University Medical School and trained as a Radiologist in Aberdeen (1984 – 1986) and on the St George’s Hospital rotation, London (1987 – 1989) during which time I spent 8 months at The Royal Marsden Hospital training in Oncological Imaging particularly using MRI.

I was first appointed a Consultant Radiologist in 1989 at Darlington Memorial Hospital and became Medical Director of the private Darlington MRI Centre in 1991. I moved to my current post as Consultant Radiologist at Sunderland Royal Hospital to establish the new MRI service in 1997.

I have been the only English specialist musculoskeletal radiologist north of Middlesborough since 2002 when I moved north from Middlesborough! My work is exclusively musculoskeletal, encompassing all diagnostic and therapeutic MSK imaging procedures including MRI, ultrasound, CT, radiographic interpretation, guided spinal and extremity injections and other therapeutic procedures.

I lead imaging for the bone and soft tissue tumour service at the Freeman Hospital and have introduced numerous new services during my time in Newcastle including percutaneous vertebroplasty (spinal bone cement injection) and radiofrequency ablation for treatment of osteoid osteoma (benign bone tumour).

I am Dr.Raj Sinha( Qualifications: FRCS,FRCR,P.G Dip in Evidence Based Orthopaedics. I am a Consulant Radiologist in Newcastle Hospitals, working in RVI,Freeman and NGH sites.

I have a background training of Orthopaedic Surgery and provide Musculoskeletal Radiology services. I lead trauma and have developed the MRI/CT/FLUORO and US musculoskeletal services in Newcastle.
