Open MRI Scanning and X-Ray Facilities

We are pleased to announce the Newcastle Clinic has recently undertook a significant investment with respect to the purchase and installation of a state of the art MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) Open scanner.

The new scanner excels at providing high quality diagnostic images for the referral of both private and NHS patients. The open magnet is designed for the management of obese and claustrophobic patients but equally effective for routine diagnostic imaging.

The service immediately benefits patients in the Newcastle and surrounding area but ultimately claustrophobic and obese patients are able to take advantage of this unique service travelling from as far a field as Reading and Aberdeen.
